National Association of County & City Health Officials (NACCHO)


State Reports from 2013 Profile Survey Findings
NACCHO developed 44 state reports using data about finance, workforce, and activities from the 2013 National Profile of Local Health departments (Profile) survey. These brief reports allow local health department (LHD) staff to compare their states' LHDs to others nationwide.

A good place to start is the Global Health Observatory.

In the Reports section, check out World Health Statistics 2012, which contains WHO's annual compilation of health-related data for its 194 Member States. It includes a summary of the progress made towards achieving the health-related Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and associated targets. This year, it also includes highlight summaries on the topics of non-communicable diseases, universal health coverage and civil registration coverage.

The GHO data repository, contains an extensive list of indicators, which can be selected by theme or through a multi-dimension query functionality. It is the World Health Organization's main health statistics repository.
