Green Building Excellence Award

The Green Building Excellence Award was established to recognize a development project that successfully implements green building techniques into new construction or significant building rehabilitation. The objective of the award is to recognize building projects that best demonstrate green building practice and to foster greater interest and adoption of green building practices community wide.

Green Letters of Recognition

In 2016 the Green Building Commission introduced a new award, the Green Letters of Recognition to recognize projects, organizations and individuals who are contributing to the City of Lowell's sustainability objectives but do not meet the full criteria of the Green Building Excellence Award.
