SUBJECT:       CC Motion of 08.05.13 BY C.R. Mercier

 “Request the Manager have the street dept. repave/repair a section of 134-168 River Road.”

In regards to the above-mentioned motion, TJ McCarthy, Assistant Manager/DPW Operations and the Engineering Department  have worked together to determine the cost and scope of having this section of road repaired and/or repaved.  The cost to repair this section of road is estimated at $40,000.  As the street is unaccepted by the City, it would be ineligible for repair through Chapter 90 funds.  

The Engineer’s Division has been instructed to immediately begin the process of accepting the street, and the LPWD will list this repair in a future road repair capital funding request.
