Rodney Elliott
Rodney Elliott resides in Pawtucketville with his wife Laurie (Machado). They have two daughters: Katelyn and Mikayla.
Councilor Elliott has been with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for over 14 years.  He spent his first 3 years with the Agency at Headquarters in Washington DC as a Budget Analyst in the Comptroller’s Office. His last 11 years have been spent in the Boston-New England Office where he currently serves as a Special Assistant in the Regional Administrators’ Office working on public affairs, contracts and grants management. His experience also includes financial management, budget oversight, hazardous materials and  emergency responder.
Prior to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, he served as the Administrative Assistant for the Town of Groton, Massachusetts, serving a three-member Board of Selectman.  He was responsible for the operation and management of the Town’s $12 million budget.   Rodney was also a City Planner for the City of Lowell for five years and Legislative Assistant for the Massachusetts State Senate for over six years.
Councilor Elliott was first elected to the City Council in 1997. He currently serves as Chair of the Youth Services and Flood Issues Subcommittees and is a member of the Community Services, Finance, Parks and Recreation, Public Safety, and Technology and Utilities Subcommittees. 
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Plymouth State University, a Master of Public Administration degree from Suffolk University and a Master of Art degree in Political Science  from Catholic University in Washington, DC.
