I.
Pathways to Poverty Grant
The Commission will discuss how it may act as a partner to the various stakeholders in the City to help
further develop job training programs in the Green Technology sector and how the Pathway to Poverty
Grant could be leveraged.

II.
Update: Green Buildings / Healthy Homes Initiative
DPD Staff will provide a progress report on the development of a presentation summarizing green building
concepts with an emphasis on the reducing the use of toxic materials in homes. Once finalized the GBC
will make presentations to neighborhood groups throughout Lowell to further knowledge of the various
toxic materials utilized in everyday products in the average home – followed by a direct marketing
campaign to solidify awareness of the toxics issue.
