I.
Priorities for 2009-2010
The Commission will review the recently developed report that outlines actions taken over the past year
and evaluate which actions and goals shall be prioritized over the next couple of years. As actions are
prioritized work items will be allocated to assure their implementation.

II.
Green Building Award
The Commission will discuss and approve an award program that would honor the development project
within the City of Lowell the meets or exceeds the highest standards in Green Building. The program will
include a process for nominating projects and criteria by which they selected as the “Greenest” project in
the City.

III.
GHG Gas Emission & Climate Action Plan
Division of Planning Staff will provide an update on the progress of the GHG inventory as well as provide
a presentation describing the Climate Action Plan. Staff will discuss exactly what a Climate Action Plan
should be and how it integrates with the Emissions inventory. The Commission will discuss the process
that should be used to develop the Action Plan and determine next steps
