Review Draft Green Building Commission by‐laws
A draft set of Green Building Commission by‐laws will be reviewed and discussed. At the end of
the discussion a vote will take place to adopt the by‐laws as presented or with amendments.
Elements of the by‐laws will include meeting guidelines, commission structure, channels of
communication with City leadership and administration, and attendance and participation
guidelines.

II.
Green Communities Workshop
A Green Communities Workshop organized by the Massachusetts Climate Action Network has
been scheduled for Sept. 30, at 9:00am at Wannalancit Mills. The workshop will include a
summary of the grant program with specific attention paid to the Massachusetts Stretch
Building Code. The commission will discuss opportunities for building community support to
achieve ‘green community’ designation.
