Site Plan: 117 Marginal Street
The Lowell Planning Board will review an application
by Brasi Development Corp. for Site Plan Review for a project located at 117
Marginal Street. The proposal includes
the construction of a six (6) story building to be used as a dormitory that
will be privately owned and leased to the University of Massachusetts,
Lowell. The building will house 1, 2,
3, and 4 bedroom units, totaling approximately 156 suites with 648 bedrooms. 329 parking spaces will be provided on site,
with an additional 161 provided at the University’s South Campus Lot. The site is located in the INST
(Institutional Mixed Use) zoning district, and comprises 174,767 sqft of land
area. Planning Board approval is
required for Site Plan Review under Section 11.4 of the Lowell Zoning
Ordinance.
