Hearings
25 Wood Street – Rite Aid
A Public Hearing will be held to hear all interested persons relative to an application by DMS Realty. The
project includes the addition of a drive-up window for the Rite Aid Pharmacy located in the Market Basket
Plaza. The addition will not impact the size of the existing building with a footprint area of 71,776sqft. A
modification to the parking configuration will be made to accommodate the drive-through, however the
total number of parking spaces will not change. A ‘stop’ sign and ‘one-way traffic’ sign is proposed at the
southeast corner of the building, traffic flow and loading areas are expected to remain the same. The
project is located in the RR (Regional Retail) zoning district and requires Site Plan review under Section
11.4 of the Lowell Zoning Ordinance.
