Green Building Logo/ Banner
The Commission will review the latest iteration of the Green Building Commission logo and banner based
on comments from the last meeting. If a final version is approved the Commission will vote to allow staff
to have the banner printed.
II.
Update: Green House Gas Inventory & Climate Action Plan
DPD Staff will provide a progress report on data collection efforts to develop the GHG inventory.
III.
Update: Green Buildings / Healthy Homes Initiative
DPD Staff will provide a progress report on the development of a presentation summarizing green building
concepts with an emphasis on the reducing the use of toxic materials in homes. Once finalized the GBC
will make presentations to neighborhood groups throughout Lowell to further knowledge of the various
toxic materials utilized in everyday products in the average home.
