CDBG & ESG Funds

Notice of RFP Availability

A Request for Proposals (RFP) for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG) funds is available through the City of Lowell, Division of Planning and Development. 

The City anticipates federal funds in the following amounts available for fiscal year 2010-2011 (pending final congressional appropriations).

The RFP will be made available November 30, 2009, and may be obtained via one of the following methods:

  • By filling out the On-line Request Form.
  • In person from the City of Lowell’s Division of Planning and Development (located at JFK Civic Center, 50 Arcand Drive, 2nd Floor, Lowell MA 01852).
  • Or by contacting Allison Lamey at (978) 446-7200.

An informational Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 6:00p.m. at the Lowell Senior Center.

Completed proposals are due no later than Friday, January 15, 2010 at 12:00pm Noon.
