City-Owned Properties

  • The City of Lowell will receive sealed Proposals for the sale of a certain property located at 51 Leverett Street.  The subject property contains approximately 10,228 +/- sq. ft. of vacant land.  The City of Lowell has established a minimum sale price of Ninety Five Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($95,000.00).  Proposals must be sealed and submitted to the address below no later than 1:00 p.m. (local time), Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at which time the proposals will be publicly opened.  The subject property is located in the Traditional-Two Family Zoning District (TTF) and, as further described in the Request for Proposals (RFP).   • The City of Lowell will receive sealed Proposals for the sale of a certain property located at 851 Lawrence & 20 Greenwood Streets.  The subject properties combined contain approximately 6,950 +/- sq. ft. of vacant land.  The City of Lowell has established a minimum sale price of Seventy Five Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($75,000.00).  Proposals must be sealed and submitted to the address below no later than 1:30 P.M. (local time), Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at which time the proposals will be publicly opened.  The subject property is located in the Traditional Two Family Zoning District (TTF) and, as further described in the Request for Proposals (RFP) available by contacting Lawrence Bevere information below.  Download document

  • The city plans to seek a Master Developer via a Request for Qualifications process for a 15 + acre site near rail and highway transit and historic downtown Lowell. The Developer Solicitiation should be released in June/July 2006, check back for updates. Please visit the Hamilton Canal District page often for updates.
