The companies listed below (in alphabetical order) have designed, fabricated, and installed awnings in the Downtown Lowell Historic District consistent with the Lowell Historic Board’s design review standards, review, approval and permitting process and may be able to provide awning design, fabrication, and installation services.  The Lowell Historic Board does not assume any responsibility for the accuracy of listings or for the performance of those listed.  Anyone using this list assumes full responsibility for checking credentials and references.  Listing does not imply endorsement or recommendation by the Lowell Historic Board.

Please note that before any awnings are fabricated and installed within the Downtown Lowell Historic District that plans must first be approved by the Board and an Historic Permit issued.  The Board, its staff, and Design Review subcommittee are available to assist with any questions regarding design and process in the District.  Please contact the Lowell Historic Board staff at (978) 446-7200 for specific requirements and application materials prior to preparing any application for awnings or fabrication/installation occurs.
