SUBJECT:       MOTION OF 07/24/07 BY COUNCILOR BRODRICK

                        REQUEST THE CITY MANAGER TO PROVIDE THE TANNER STREET

CORRIDOR PLAN AND BEGIN THE PROCESS OF UPDATING THE SAME

 

 

In regards to the above-mentioned motion, several meetings have been held between this office, the DPD and the Lowell Plan to update the comprehensive plan for the Tanner Street Corridor.  Attached is report from the DPD which identifies specific action steps to achieving the goal of turning this corridor into an economic engine for the area. Given the tremendous development potential, the redevelopment of the Tanner Street area is very much a priority.
