The regions’ premier parade is presented by the City of Lowell through a collaboration of the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce, Greater Lowell Convention & Visitors Bureau, COOL, Downtown Lowell Business Association, Festival Foundation, and Lowell National Park Service.

- 2007 Rib'n Brews Festival
- The City of Lowell along with the New England Barbecue Society is sponsoring a three-day Kansas City-style barbecue competition at the Tsongas Arena Grounds on Friday, September 7th, 6:00pm-12:00am -- Saturday, September 8th, 12:00pm -12:00am -- Sunday, September 9th, 12:00pm – 6:00pm. This three-day event also includes a microbrew challenge ($20 participation fee), food , and live entertainment from some of Boston’s top bands. Admission is $5 (children under 12 are admitted free).
