Kevin Broderick

Councilor Kevin Broderick is a lifelong resident of Lowell, born and raised in the Highlands section of the City.   He and his wife Julie are the parents of 5 children.

Broderick, a graduate of Lowell High School Class of 1985, obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Trinity College (Hartford, CT) in 1989 and received his Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk Law School in 1994.He is a member of the Greater Lowell Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association.

Broderick began his tenure on the Lowell City Council in 2005.  Prior to that, for 9 years he served as a member of the City’s Planning Board and the Historical Board.  He ended his tenure on the latter as Chairman and the former as Vice- Chairman.

Broderick has served on numerous community boards, commissions and civic organizations including Boys and Girls Club of Greater Lowell and Greater Lowell YMCA and coached youth sports in the Shedd Park Little League and Highland Basketball League.
