Michael J. Lenzi was born in Lowell on April 9, 1958 and raised in St. Margaret Parish in the Highlands section of the city.  Mike is married 27 years to Sandra (Jachimowicz) of Hamburg, NY and they have 6 children.

Mike is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University with a BA in Hospitality Management.  He is presently the President & CEO of Lenzi's Catering & Function Facilities and Treasurer & CFO of Lenzi's Special Events.

This is his first term having been elected in November of 2007. 

Mike is presently a member of Long Meadow Golf Club, Mt. Pleasant Golf Club, The East End Club, Lowell Lodge of Elks and Passe Temps Club.

Councilor Lenzi serves on the Comcast/Cable TV, Economic Development, Health, Parks and Recreation, School Building Program, Technology, and Youth Services subcommittees and is chairman of the Collegiate/School Partnerships subcommittee.

Councilor Lenzi is presently serving and formerly Chairperson of the GLTHS School Committee, Saints Medical Center Foundation, and is Chairperson of the GLTHS Charitable Foundation.

Councilor Lenzi has previously served on the Lowell Board of Health.

Lenzi was a Culinary Arts Instructor at GLTHS for 15 years from 1985 until 2000.   

Councilor Lenzi also served the Lowell community as a youth baseball and basketball coach.
