The public may examine electronic copies of the Draft Plan at www.lowellma.gov.  Printed copies of the document are available for public review from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Division of Planning and Development, JFK Civic Center, Second Floor, 50 Arcand Drive; at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 375 Merrimack St., and at the Pollard Memorial Library, 401 Merrimack St. during normal operating hours.

Written comments may be submitted to Allison Lamey, Director of Community Development, 50 Arcand Drive, Lowell, MA 01852, faxed to 978-446-7014, or emailed to alamey@lowellma.gov. For consideration, comments must be received no later than April 22, 2011 at 5:00 PM

Please note: the Draft Plan is subject to change and requires approval by the Lowell City Council.  Applicants will be notified in writing by June 2011 of the final awards for FY 2011-2012.  Applicants must not assume their proposal has been accepted for funding until they have received written notification from the City.

The City of Lowell, Division of Planning and Development (DPD) will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday March 31, 2011 at 6 PM at the Lowell Senior Center to review the Draft Plan.  Interested persons are encouraged to attend and may provide testimony regarding the document.

Interpreters for non-English speaking or hearing-impaired residents will be provided if requested at least four (4) business days prior to the scheduled hearing.  Contact the DPD at 978-446-7200.
