Armenian-American Community Holds Procession and Flag-Raising in Commemoration of 1.5 Million Slain in WWI Era

On Saturday, April 21, the Armenian National Committee of the Merrimack Valley sponsored a procession, flag-raising and reception to commemorate Armenian heritage. In particular, the event focused on remembrance of the 1.5 million Armenians who were killed, mainly by Turks of the Ottoman Empire, between 1915 and 1923.
