City of Lowell Seeks Applicants for Library Board of Trustees
The City of Lowell is currently seeking letters of interest from Lowell residents by March 19, 2010 to fill one (1) vacancy on the Board of Trustees for the Pollard Memorial Library. The Library’s Board of Trustees provides policy direction in matters and concerns related to the Lowell Public Library. The Board of Trustees meets the first Wednesday of the month at 5:30 pm.
Public notice of meetings is posted at least two weeks in advance on the City of Lowell’s online Event Calendar and on the bulletin board outside of the City Clerk’s Office.
Applicants should send a letter of interest and a resume by March 19, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. to the City of Lowell Human Relations Department, City Hall, 375 Merrimack St., Lowell, MA 01852, Fax978-970-4000 or via email to Donna McIntosh, Executive Assistant to the City Manager at dmcintosh@lowellma.gov.
