City Announces New City Councilor.
Kevin Broderick was sworn in to fill the vancancy on the City Council.
After the resignation of Rithy Uong from City Council, it was determined by the Lowell Election Commission that Kevin P. Broderick was the next qualified canidate from the 2003 City Election. The remaining City Councillors voted after the City Council Meeting on August 9th and Councillor Broderick was sworn in by the City Clerk, Richard C. Johnson. Councilor Broderick will serve out the remainding 6 months of Rithy Uong's term.
