The City of Lowell Division of Planning and Development will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 6:00 PM at the SENIOR CENTER, to help prepare the Annual Action Plan for FY 2010-2011.  This plan governs the distribution of federal entitlement grant funds through the CDBG, HOME, ESG, and HOPWA programs.  DPD will also provide technical assistance on submission of an RFP for Federal Entitlement Funds, review performance of current projects, and obtain input on housing and community development needs.

RFPs for federal funds are available beginning at 12:00 PM November 30, 2009 at the City of Lowell DPD, 50 Arcand Drive, 2nd Floor.  Requests for electronic copies may be made through the City’s website: www.lowellma.gov/depts/dpd/rfp. The City will provide interpreters for non-English speaking or hearing-impaired residents upon receiving a request at least four (4) days prior to the scheduled hearing date.
