Notice of Public Hearing and RFP Availability for the FY 2012-2013 Annual Action Plan
The City of Lowell Division of Planning and Development will hold Public Hearing #1 on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 6:00 PM at the Lowell Senior Center, 276 Broadway Street, to help prepare the Annual Action Plan for FY 2012-2013.
This plan governs the distribution of federal entitlement grant funds through the CDBG, HOME, ESG, and HOPWA programs. DPD will also provide technical assistance on submission of an RFP for Federal Entitlement Funds, review performance of current projects, and obtain input on housing and community development needs.
RFPs for federal funds are available beginning at 12:00 PM November 21, 2011 at the City of Lowell DPD, 50 Arcand Drive, 2nd Floor. Requests for electronic copies may be made through the City’s website: www.lowellma.gov/depts/dpd/rfp. Completed RFPs are due at the DPD Office by 12:00 PM December 21, 2011. The City will provide interpreters for non-English speaking or hearing-impaired residents upon receiving a request at least four (4) days prior to the scheduled hearing date.
