Notice RFP Availability for FY 2011 ESG – Second Allocation of Funds
The City of Lowell, department of Planning and Development is soliciting proposals for the use of ESG funds totaling $61,226.63 to be used for homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing activities.
These funds are available through a second allocation of FY2011 Emergency Solutions Grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and will be subject to regulations of the HEARTH Act. ESG funds may be used to support programs that benefit Lowell residents who are at risk of becoming homeless or to rapidly re-house persons who have recently become homeless.
A Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available through the City of Lowell, DPD beginning 12:00 PM February 17, 2012 at the City of Lowell, DPD 50 Arcand Drive 2nd Floor. Requests for electronic copies may be made by contacting Emily Currier at ecurrier@lowellma.gov
Completed applications will be due Friday, March 9, 2012 at 12:00 PM
