Ready, Set, Quit!
If you or someone you know is ready to quit smoking (or thinking about it) – call 1-800-TRY-TO-STOP to qualify for 2 Weeks of FREE Nicotine Patches. Yesterday, the City announced its partnership with the MA Department of Public Health, business leaders and community agencies to reduce smoking in the City of Lowell. Unfortunately, our City’s smoking rates are 50% higher than the statewide average.
Ready, Set, Quit is a terrific opportunity for anyone who lives, works or studies in the City of Lowell to receive a FREE 2-week supply of nicotine patches when they call 1-800-TRY-TO-STOP and are screened for eligibility. During this 2 month promotion, all callers will be sent a quit smoking kit within a few days with eligible smokers receiving nicotine patches.
Don’t Smoke? Great! (But We Still Need Your Help…) Please help spread the word to friends and family members. FREE posters and palm cards are available by emailing cmorin@lowellma.gov at the Lowell Tobacco Control Program and requesting your materials.
