Walker Street, between Waugh Street and W. Adams Street, will be closed to southbound vehicular traffic from Monday, November 26, 2012, through Saturday, January 26, 2013 for bridge repairs. The west sidewalk on Walker Street, between Waugh Street and W. Adams Street, will also be closed. Pedestrian crosswalks will be provided to grant access to the east sidewalk that will remain open. Kodiak Corporation will be performing gusset plate repairs on the west side of Walker Street Bridge over the B&M Railroad. Southbound traffic will be detoured 24/7 via Waugh Street to Wilder Street to W. Adams Street while construction activities take place.
