Parking Tickets
The City of Lowell offers the convenience of online payment for Motor Vehicle Excise Taxes. Please read the Notices below prior to continuing.
Notices
- This service is provided as a convenience by the City of Lowell to its citizens and bill payers to pay bills "currently due."
- Signing up for this service is free and allows you to access, view, and pay your bills through Metropolitan Communications (MCC), a 3rd party Merchant.
- Parking tickets are usually available for online payment within 3 to 7 days of issuance.
- Only current parking tickets (issued within the past 21 days) can be paid online. After going unpaid for 21 days, a parking ticket is flagged as overdue.
- Please contact the City of Lowell’s Parking Ticket Office at 978-970-4100 in order to arrange for payment of overdue Parking Tickets, or if you have any additional questions regarding Parking Tickets.
- Please contact MCC at 508-460-6000 for assistance with the online bill payment service.
- Online payments for Non-Renewal of your Motor Vehicle Registration or Driver's License can not be made through this system.
- Online payments for Police Citations, and Towed or Booted Vehicles can not be made through this system; please refer to your citation for payment instructions and contact information.
- Online payments are usually reflected immediately; overdue tickets displayed are refreshed every 30 days; amounts due are subject to change per the appropriate Collection Schedule.
- Payment may be made directly from your checking or savings account by electronic check (ACH Transaction), or via select credit cards.
- As the bill payer, you are responsible for any convenience fees assessed by MCC for online bill payment.
- All payment transactions on this system are processed using a secure connection, and in US currency only; the Merchant’s country of origin is the USA.
- Mailing your payments, or paying them in person is an option always available to you.
