Utility Billing
The City of Lowell offers the convenience of online payment for Water Utility Billing. Please read the Notices below prior to continuing.
Notices
- This service is provided as a convenience by the City of Lowell to its citizens and bill payers to pay bills "currently due."
- Signing up for this service is free and allows you to access, view, and schedule to pay your bills through Metropolitan Communications (MCC), a 3rd party Merchant.
- Utility Billing is usually available for online payment by the day you receive your bill.
- Please contact the City of Lowell's Department of Public Works at 978-970-4247 if you have any questions regarding your Utility Bill.
- Please contact the City of Lowell’s Office of the Treasurer at 978-970-4222 in order to arrange for payment of overdue Water Utility Bills.
- Please contact MCC at 508-460-6000 for assistance with the online bill payment service.
- Online payments are usually reflected immediately; overdue bills displayed are refreshed every 30 days; amounts due are subject to change per the appropriate Collection Schedule.
- Payment may be made directly from your checking or savings account by electronic check (ACH Transaction), or via select credit cards.
- As the bill payer, you are responsible for any convenience fees assessed by MCC for online bill payment.
- All payment transactions on this system are processed using a secure connection, and in US currency only; the Merchant’s country of origin is the USA.
- Mailing your payments, or paying them in person is an option always available to you.
