The City of Lowell is proud to share that Sustainability Director Katherine Moses has been selected as a winner of the Smart Energy Decisions' (SED) fifth annual Women in Smart Energy (WISE) Award in the category of Industry Veteran.

The WISE Awards recognize exceptional women who are advancing the clean energy evolution and inspiring the next generation of leaders in the industry. As the only honoree representing municipal government, Ms. Moses's recognition highlights both her individual leadership and Lowell's growing reputation as a forward-thinking, sustainability-driven city.

The Industry Veteran award honors a woman with more than 10 years of experience who has made, and continues to make, a lasting, positive impact in the smart energy industry. Ms. Moses's leadership, dedication, and innovation in advancing sustainability and energy efficiency in Lowell exemplify exactly that.

Ms. Moses and her fellow award winners will be recognized at the SED Forum Spring 2026, taking place March 16-18, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa in Cedar Creek, Texas.

The City of Lowell congratulates Ms. Moses on this outstanding and well-deserved national recognition.
