We are very excited to provide a network of charging stations for electric vehicles in Lowell. We continue to expand our network of stations and currently have 33 dedicated stations providing 66 ports of level 2 Charging. Currently, there is no charge for electricity but there is a four (4) hour limit for charging and if you are not charging, we ask that you move your car to allow someone else to charge.
Charging stations are located at all City Garages, with an addition charger located directly across from City Hall (375 Merrimack St.) on Warren St at UTEC (35 Warren St) and in the Gorhams St Parking Lot, at the corner of Gorham and Appleton St..
